I don’t get it.
I don’t think you’re supposed to “get” anything. It’s a fun, inspired video about “driving” without generating emissions. I think they were probably saying that cars aren’t just about the machine or how fast it can go, but that there are other important aspects in the design philosophy of a car. Like the preservation of the environment so people can enjoy being outside while they shoot stop-motion commercials.
It’s also possible that Nissan is just hopping on the stop-motion advertising bandwagon.
